24-Hour Prayer Concluded

Pray without ceasing.

For everything, do it all for the glory of God.

Yesterday, November 24 at 6:00 PM marked the end of the 24-Hour Chain Prayer that was held in our chapel at Pulantubig Church of Christ in Pulantubig, Dumaguete City. A short fellowship and sumptuous buffet was served at the end of the service as the brethren smiled and enjoyed each others' company.

The chain prayer started last November 23 with a short service by Pastor Frank Tenchavez. Almost every member of the congregation eagerly came just in time for their signed-up schedule and everyone uttered they've been truly blessed while talking with God inside the prayer room that was temporarily installed at the right side of the chapel, just across the pulpit. 

Did the participants just prayed the whole time they were in the prayer room? No, they also enjoyed singing hymns, reading the Scriptures, meditating God's Words while enjoying the spacious room that was properly ventilated and a background music was also played all throughout the chain prayer.

Truly, the successful chain prayer that lasted for 24 hours marks a beautiful start as we look forward for more events praising God and giving Him glory and honor, which He, our Lord and Master deserve.
